Belle Fire Department, Inc.

The Belle Fire Department is located in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Our response
area includes the Town of Belle and surrounding residential communities. Within our
response territory we also respond to the DuPont Chemical Plant providing assistance to
their response team. Also included in our territory is the Walker Machinery Company
which serves as the local mining industries Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Dealer. The
100% Volunteer fire department is trained and equipped to respond to numerous
emergencies including fires, vehicle accidents, dive rescue, swift water rescue, hazardous
materials incidents, technical rope rescue, and any emergency situation that the fire
department may be needed. We also provide many non emergency services to out
community including responding to calls that do not require a true emergency response.
The Belle Fire Department is committed to providing fire prevention and safety classes for
our local schools as well. Firefighters visit schools on a annual basis to conduct fire safety
classes for students at different schools within our territory. Without the support of the
local business, industry, and citizens the Belle Fire Department would not be able to
provide the level of service that it is able to provide. With that we would like to thank those
who continue to support the Belle Fire Department. The Belle Fire Department is made up
of members devoted to volunteering their time to help citizens in need at any time.
